What defines a nurse?

An individuals who take cares for the sick or infirm specifically with a licensed health-care professional who practices independently or under supervision of a physician, surgeon, or dentist and who is skilled in promoting and maintaining health and also maintaining day to day health tracker of a patient for a better observation and recovery. They are known as Advance Practice Nurses (APNs) and include Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

However, exercising leadership skills in any role of the organization shows a willingness to grow and adapt at one’s own pace. While having a strong willingness to learn is an important skill to define a good nurse, by that knowledge putting it into successful practice requires an ability to think critically, especially in high-stress situations.
